Get ProSplitting makes new PDFs out of the pages you choose. Each page comes out exactly as it was: text stays text, and pictures are not recompressed.
Pages you leave out are removed, not hidden. A page that a link or a form field points to can stay inside a split file where no reader shows it. CrunchBox deletes those pages, then reopens each file and checks that it holds only the pages you asked for before handing it to you.

Typing pages: 3 is one page, 1-3 is pages 1 to 3, 10- is page 10 to the end. Separate them with commas: 1-3, 7, 10-.
- One PDF: the pages come out together, in the order you type them.
3, 1, 2also reorders them - A separate PDF for each range:
1-3, 4-10makes two files - A new PDF every 1 page: every page becomes its own file
Each new PDF keeps what belongs to its pages:
- Links that jump between pages that are both in the file
- Fillable form fields on those pages, and what you typed in them
- Bookmarks that point at those pages
- The document's title and author
Left out on purpose: links and bookmarks that pointed at removed pages, form fields that sat only on removed pages, attached files, and the tags screen readers use, which describe the whole document.
Signed PDFs: a split file cannot carry the original's digital signature. The tool tells you when a PDF is signed, so you can keep the original. Password-protected PDFs are refused: remove the protection first.
- Sending two pages of a contract without the rest
- Pulling one statement out of a year of them
- Turning a stack of scanned receipts into one file each
- Taking a single chapter out of a long report or manual
- Getting one form out of a packet a portal will only take one page of
Your PDF never leaves your device. Reading the file, removing pages, and checking the result all happen in your browser. CrunchBox has no server that could see what is in your documents.
This is why we run entirely in-browser: if we can't touch your files, we can't lose them, leak them, or profile them.
